Great looking ESP. I wish AMM would make the mods public since the modding service for these has been taken off the page. These amps suffer from a design flaw in the phase inverter section, so maybe that's why no tech wants to touch these anymore.

Great amp. I've had the pleasure of playing this and a Nitro at a friend's studio years ago. I preferred the Nitro at the time but both are great. A better clean channel and they'd be perfect.

88 or 87 I was about 17 years old. Macalpine, Vai, Uli Jon Roth, Gary Moore, lynch and Malmsteen were the order of the day. I walked into 48th Street Custom. Picked up a black strat style axe. Reversed Jackson style headstock. All black Hardware, black EMG humbuckers, dark Rosewood fingerboard, Floyd Rose tremolo, SUPER low action. It was absolutely the sweetest most Flawless instrument my hands have ever touched. Just a fantasy. It was $800, no way I could afford it at the time. It was just a dream and I was never the same after experiencing that. I'm no longer in New York City, not even in the country but I sometimes wondered if that shop is still there. I understand they were "acquired" by Sam Ash. To this day I dream of owning an instrument like that one masterpiece I tried. Edit* After doing a little research I discovered that their best guitars were made by a young guy (about 20) named Yoshi Kikuchi who had a close relationship with ESP. Makes sense because the closest thing to that Fantasy Axe I ever found was an ESP. Hey Yoshi, I hope you're still making guitars. Maybe someday I'll have the honor of owning one.

I've got the nice Levy's 4" padded strap and I agree... the quality is not bad but it's substandard leather. The comfort is there though and for me, that's what matters. I've got a nice buffalo leather strap I got from a guy on Etsy and it's great but not really much padding (which I need) and a crazy comfortable Lekato strap but it's not leather. Tomorrow my Anthology Shadowlands strap arrives (along with the $22 extension tongue, because Explorer) and I'm hyped to see what nearly $200 worth of leather strap looks, feels and smells like. I'm a huge leather snob though. Belts and a watch strap from Popov leather, paid extra for real leather in the cars, paid extra for the Heart of the hide baseball glove, etc. The smell is always the dead giveaway on the quality. Edit: I don't trust the dunlop straplocks. I've had a couple fail and when they fail, the guitar falls. The Schaller locks at least have the U channel that the stud sits in so even if it fails to lock, you still have the strap peg resting in the U shaped locking area but I don't use those either. I use those football shaped strap pegs that D'Addario make. Easy on and easy off but nearly impossible to accidentally come off due to their shape. Edit 2: I'm an idiot. I have had an Anthology "The Reticent" strap since 2019 but it's on my acoustic so I don't use it all that much. Very good strap too. I've trashed all my cheap straps.

The overall built quality and feel of ESP will always be better than LTD. I remember playing EC-1000 when I had a chance and got to compare it with a standard series Eclipse.. The EC felt exactly like the price tag and I just couldn't play it. After owning a number of high end ESPs (KH2, 2001 USA MH Custom, Explorer, M2 and playing other like KH1, Zorlad, KH2 Vintage, RZK) the ESP is just miles above on every aspect. My brother has a standard series M2 and it felt nothing like my bolt on KH2, while they are both ESP. LTD are great for the money but comparing them with ESP is giving them a lot more credit than they should have. Either way, great video and as while as you enjoy it, that is what matters!

couple years ago I got the LTD MH-350FR. VERY unknown guitar but plays fucking amazing. It's a 700 dollar guitar but plays better than most Ernie Ball Majesty's I've tried. ESP is truly a great company

I only use esp guitars. My first one I bought was a kh202.

I just got a TSL 60 and im using it with a dispatch master pedal. The sound and harmonics sort of quality of the clean channel is everything i always wanted. If i had a DSL 50 to compare it to the clean channel specifically I would love that. I highly highly recommend the TSL60 to the point where i dont want to recommend it because im selfish. As a home pedal platform its absolutely perfect.

Had a TSL 100 for a while. All 3 channels had a really distinct flavor. The yellow mode was awesome. Kinda made me think of Van Halen, and Kill ‘Em All. The red mode was savage. Everyone hates on these amps because of the top end. But when you’re in a band mix. That’s the exact reason why they sound killer.

Did you set your Pyle to 220 or 240 input voltage? I have the exact same equipment as you and don’t want to blow anything up accidentally. Great review man!

Okay, question for all the other Ceres fans. I just purchased a used KSR Ceres. I was told it was the first edition from 2020 I believe. So, my question is obvious... Is there a huge difference between my supposed first edition Ceres and the newer versions?

I just bought a SYN-1 and Engl Powerball and Bogner Uberschall modules. I am currently running it through a SD Powerstage 700 into my 2x12 cab. Sounds killer so far.
